Bubble coral expels goop semi-nightly- normal? *pix*

I have never had this coral. It shrinks down some nights and expels a bunch of funky stuff then it takes about an hour for it to look 'normal' again.

Is there a problem, or is this normal?

I cannot speak specifically for the bubble coral but I do know that my LPS do secrete a slime. This is usually some time after feeding. (I feed Coral Frenzy twice a week.) I would say that as long as your water parms are on this is something not to worry about.
