Well, I had a bit of hair algae problem which I have largely resolved. However, some hair algae got inside the skeleton of my bubble coral causing some of the bubbles to not expand. I have tried to remove as much of the algae as possible from the coral and used a turkey baster also to do so but it keeps growing back in the skeleton to the point that I cannot get it out of the coral in the small spaces in its skeleton.
Is there anything that I can do to help this coral survive, perhaps a dip of some kind to kill the algae growing in its skeleton? There still are bubbles expanding on portions of the coral, but I fear that if I do not solve this issue soon the coral will die. Any suggestions?
