Bubble Coral question

Hello all. I have a question. I bought a white bubble coral a while back and had some issues where i almost lost it. I was down to the size of a nickel maybe. it is making its comeback and has more than tripled in size but now the color is not white. Its more of a dull cream color. My question is this

Will it ever get color back?

I wonder if it's really pearl colored & was just bleached until now. Do you feed it? If not you might want to a couple of times a week & that will help keep it going in the right direction.
