Bubble coral split

It looks like my bubble coral has split. Do I simply have to hit the rock with a chisel to separate them?

Use a turkey baster and shoot water at it's foot. It will let go after a while.

The "œfoot" wont let go. Its an LPS, and separating the flesh from the skeleton will likely kill it. Band saw or chisel in between the skeleton to separate where the flesh split.

He thought you meant bubble tip anemone. If there's no flesh between the two skeleton pieces yes just carefully separate the skeleton. I'd rather use a saw than a chisel. Chisel could result in some serious trauma

Sounds good. That makes more sense. Had it about 15years. Don’t want to do anything risky. Moving everything to a new tank soon so it would be nice to separate them.

Oops, sorry. I did think you meant bubble top anemone.
