Bubble Coral

I just got a bubble coral and it was out lively and everything and then out of nowhere, it goes into its "shell". Is this normal? I kinda don't want to lose this piece, don't want to lose any piece for that matter. If you could give me some feedback it would be great. Thanks.

all corals polyp out and in from time to time. or deflate whatever you want to call it. is it normal to have this happen I would say yes especially since it is a new addition. if it stays that way for a full day or more I would think something was wrong and would look into fixing it pretty fast. of course you could be like me and kill things left and right ;)

HotReeferSRT4, I've had my RBTA for over a months and maybe like once a week it deflates and looks dead. Im not an expert but It does inflate back to normal and looks good. I would guess that behaviors normal. If it dies just blame robthorn, not me. :D :D

..Oh yeah, you might want to worry if its deflated and not sticking on to anything or lying in your sand. :( ...he was a pretty piece. :sad1:
