does anyone know were to get some bubble coral from? ive been looking into them and i was going to give them a try. any one?

i really dont like wet pets that much becouse of the prices nothing in that store to me seems resonable. i was hopeing someone localy had some or new o some one.

what thats the avg price rage i should be looking for the buble coral. that way i dont jump on the first frags i see.

green bubble is the most expensive 80 up but the white or pearl should be around 40. did you look at the link i sent he might be the best for bubble and it will be a nice size frag. also i think elmers has some

Seahorse carries them too. As far as buying from Petco (or any store for that matter), they may be cheap, but until I have some indication that their store is actually taking their responsibility to treat their aquatic animals with the same standards that they have to treat other animals (mammals) I won't support them. It is our responsibility as consumers to support places that are dedicated to maintaining healthy animals and responsible collection practices. I'd rather pay twice the amount at WetPets, because at least I know that they don't let their fish suffer and eventually die from ich the way that some Petco's and Burton's do.

i hear ya, i bought some damsel's from a local petco when i was setting up my 30 gal. last year and they came down with severe ich. didnt notice any break out of it until after i put in my maroon clowns that i bought from elmers. luckily they didnt come down with any and i was able to stave off spread of it.

also noticed that petco had some sixline wrasses a while ago, went back to look at them again and 1 was dead stuck to the filter while the other 2 looked very mal-nutritioned.

The Washington PA, Petco store has NO saltwater fish right now. I was in there last week looking for a powerhead (I was desperate) and their entire saltwater section was empty except for a few pieces of live rock conveniently label ON THE ACTUAL ROCK "live rock". Last time I saw actual fish there they looked like powdered donuts.

the petco out mcnight road allways has satwter live stock in and all there fish (except for the clowns ive noticed) all have fins missing tore up or dead and floating. the yellow tangs they have are in terable shape beat to hec and back. i guess the clown are exspetion becouse there a very easy fish to sell. and they have very bad sales reps the one guy i delt with when i was probly 14 about to turn 15 when i was starting up my nano for the first time told me i dont need anything but one piece of live rock some sand and a hob filter. i was nieve but i did do my reaserch and did know that was complety wrong. the next thing he tryed telling me was in such a small tank water changes are done less ofton becouse of less live stock witch is completly backwards. i mean if these places cant hire people to probly inform and keep these animals then they shouldnt sell them. petco is terable and burtons is very iffy on some live stock conditon.
