They can but from what I have read it is a PITA it involves cutting the skeleton and then seperating the flesh. They are very slow healers so the mortality rate is supposedly quite high. I have yet to try it.
We have two bubble corals (one pink, one green) and I'd be afraid to frag them. It's always seemed like an iffy proposition and I'd hate to lose them in the process.
