my vlamingi has what looks to be an air bubble in his eye. is there anything i should try doing or let it run it's course and see what happens?

Does it appear to be a bubble coming out from around the eye, or does the whole eye appear to be pushed out into a bubble? Is it cloudy or clear?

In all likely hood it is pop-eye which is a bacterial infection... the infection isn't normally in the eye, the the bubble in the eye is just a symptom of something else going wrong from a simple infection from a net all the way to infected kidneys.

If it seems severe and you decide to treat (not in your aquarium) this appears to be a main stream treatment. The odds are the fish will no longer be able to see from that eye.

My fowleri tang had it once looks like a air bubble on top of the eye it went away after 3 weeks no treatments

It looks like an air bubble inside of the eye.it is clear.

I would personally treat, but there are plenty of accounts of it going away on its own. If it appears to get worse (larger, cloudy, etc) anything other than going away in a couple weeks since you first noticed it, I would treat.
