Bubble Magus Curve 7 dimensions question

I'm looking to buy a Bubble Magus Curve 7 skimmer, going by the specs its dimensions are 232L x 200W x 520H . The skimmer has 2 intake positions and by default it looks like the inlet is on the side of the skimmer (and sticks out past the body of the skimmer).

The section in my sump for the skimmer is only 190mm wide so I'm wondering if I mount the intake on the opposite side of the output, is the skimmer thinner than on when its mounted the side?
