Bubble magus curve A5

Hello,
I have a problem with my skimmer. I have a bubble magus Curve A5. It has been working fine for about 7 months but I just replaced my old sump and while I was doing that I figured now would be a good time to clean the skimmer. After I got everything set up the skimmer fired up fine but the next morning when I checked on it, it was off. The green light on the power cord is flashing on and off. I've tried turning it off and back on too many times to count. I took the thing apart again to check if I forgot something but didn't notice anything missing. Has anybody had this problem? I tried searching for a manual but it didn't mention anything about a green flashing light. I also emailed bubble magus two weeks ago and haven't heard back. I just want to start skimming again! Somebody help!!!!

Just in case somebody is interested.

I got in touch with seaside aquatics who deals with the warranties for bubble magus. They told me that the pump has a built in temperate sensor that kills the pump if it overheats. Usually when the pump cools down the sensor then lets you restart the pump. Until you turn it off and on again the green light will blink.

With the pump I had, the sensor either got triggered then failed or just failed but either way that's why the light was flashing green no matter what I tried. The sensor broke.

It was under warranty so they replaced it. The customer surface at seaside was awesome. They replied quickly and were very helpful. Big thumbs up to them.

They also told me that sometimes the ceramic rod that holds the impeller gets stuck to the impeller because of calcium buildup which causes the pump to overheat and go into "˜safe mode' where it won't run again until it cools off. That's why cleaning the pump out usually fixes the problem.

Thought I would share in case somebody in the future has the same problem as me.
