will this work in the sump? not sure how much water it needs to sit in and i was thinking about getting one with the idea that i can have section for a fuge instead of a internal skimmer. any thoughts or ideas ??? if not then ill go with the reef octopus 6". the sump i'm gonna get is the dlx 100 pro and a overflow box rated at 800 gph with a mag 9.5 for the return at 4' of head should put me at 800 or i could step it down to the 7 and be at 420. not sure if the octopus would be overkill for a 55 tank or not (thinking if i get a bigger tank down the road i can keep the skimmer and bigger return pump) any other suggestions let me know so i can take advantage of the holiday deals i gotta order something tonight.
