Bubble tip split

I came home to this. I have never caught one in the act, normally just find them afterwards.

Cool! Looks like they chose a good spot to do it, too.
How'd that one get over there, though? Are they just really stretchy at that point?

One has its foot in a crevice on the back side of the rock. It anchored the other end up the rock and started the split. I guess the one didn't want to give up his spot.
