Buckets wanted/needed

Anyone have any buckets w/good lids I can have or know where to find some? I also need to find some portable heaters.

You can buy buckets and lids at the hardware stores like Lowes, HD and Ace.

Walmart has 5g white buckets w/lids for about $8

I have a 12 gal tank that I'm moving to MN with... so I suppose one or two would be fine.

they're like 4.99 at home depot, dont know about the lid


they dont come with rubber seal either...might be able to buy one though

For that matter you could put just a tiny line of sealant in the groove on the lid and make your own seal.

If you are planning to move just the goods and not the water, you can probably get some very large styrofoam boxes from your LFS. All of their shipments come in them and the stores typically throw them away. If you're extra nice, they might even be inclined to share some bag with you.

For heaters can you use about 5 or 6 instant heat packs? Will that keep about 3 gallons of water warm?
