Building a Canopy?

Does anyone have directions on building a canopy for a 75 Gallon? I have the outer orbit unit sitting on legs right now and it's turning in to a pain. I'd like to make it open from the front and place the fixture on wooden mounts above. I'd also need to install fans. Basically I can't build anything so I'm clueless.

This is an old pic but it shows what i'm working with

I can't see the pic at work, but I did this recently. If you need any help, I can offer advice. I would make mine open-top if I was doing it again (for heat reasons). Here is a link to what I did:

I have the plans and cut list sketched out for the hood if you are interested. With slight modifications, it can be made to work for a standard 75G tank without the 6" overhang at the back.

I built my whole setup but I am not sure how to post pictures...I have built 2 canopys now and my second one worked much better.

The whole front on my 6ft long canopy opens...Has vents in the back to help with heat, two computer fans and you can't see any seems overall I think it looks great...I have pictures of the entire process that i can email for ideas if you need me too.....attatch your email to this...

I don't jhave nay step by step directions but I have a few pics you might get some ideas from.

Adam~ Unless you're planning on buying a new lighting system, you'll have to have the outer orbit set on top of the canopy you design... Its the same way I have my t5's set up over my canopies... But the fixture is too wide to have set inside a canopy... Just something to be aware of when you're in the designing process... :D
