Building a new 29

I am going to drill my 29 gal. Anyone know how big of a hole I should drill? 1/2", 3/4", or 1"? Should I drill one or two holes? I'm planning on using a Mag 7 or 9 for the return with a sea swirl. Which one should I use?
Thanks,
Ryan

I'd go for a 1 1/2 inch bulkhead. I have a 1 inch bulkhead (which requires a much bigger hole than 1 inch), and its perfect for my Mag 2.

here are some things I'm planning on adding to the tank and equipment I want to use.
Any advice on the fish or equipment would be nice. Or if you can think of anything I left out.

Fish: 4-5 of the following
Jawfish
Flame angle
Small shrimp goby
Maroon clown
Black ocellaris Clown
Purple firefish
Yellow watchman goby

Inverts:
Derasa
Maxima
Cleaner
Fire shrimp
Peppermint Shrimp
Sand sifting cucumber
20+ snails
15 hermits

Liverock:
40-45 lbs rock
40 lbs sand

Equipment
Tank: 29 gal (drilled)
Sump: 20 gal glass or acrylic/ dividers
Return pump: Mag 7 or 9
½” sea swirl
Lights: 1 or 2 250W Aquamedic Oceanlight (already own)
Skimmer: Tunze nano or Coralife
Heater: Jager 100W
RO unit: Captive Purity 3 Stage 35 gal/day

Oops, I should mention that a 1 inch would be fine if you are drilling the bottom, although a bigger drain wouldn't hurt. I drilled my hole in the back glass.
