what kelvin of mh bulb will give me the best whitish blue color i have a 175 wt and a 250wt and 2 110 vhos act and would like a whitish blue not yellow or pure blue thanks

I'd say 14K would be your best bet. I run 14K's with no actinics and it looks great.

glaspie said that he likes 20k and said they are white does anyone run them? if they are anything like car light ratings that is way blue but idk

I run 20k's....and remember that what balast you use will have an effect on the final color of the bulbs...

i think saltwater6900 is mixed up because the 20k are going to have a more blue color to them, the only more blue you can get is 56k and that is not a smart idea unless you are going for all actinic
