Butterflies with anemones

I currently have a yellow longnose in with my gigs and mag. No issues. I'm looking for another butterfly. I have a few corals but the only thing that I really care that they not eat are my anemones. My tank is basically a FOWLR and anemones. Aside from that I have a couple goniopora frags and a few sps frags.

I'd like to get a copperband, merensii, or pearlscale. Are my anemones safe with those? I really like the pearlscale the best.

unless u have clownfish that could protect the anemones, i wouldnt try the pearlscale.

I agree. The clowns will help protect things from getting into them. My Hippo wants so much to get in with my OC that it gets mad and runs away when the OC nudges it away.

It comes back later to swim around. The OC will come out and play with it and then jump back in after a few minutes of playing.

Yea. I'm going to chicken out and go with a pyramid butterfly instead. I do have a pair of clowns but they stay exclusively in the mag so gigs are unprotected.

pyramid is nice. i used to have one and it ate like pig.

Yea, pyramids aren't my favorite but they seem to be the smarter choice.
