Depends on what you want. Angels and Butterflies is a huge scope for fish. There are lots of reef safe angels like the Genicanthus genus, and the Pyramid butterflies are regarded as reef safe. There are plenty of fish on the fringe for angels, and there are sole corallivores for butterflies.

A list of fish you want to keep would help a lot!

Hi
I would like to have semilarvatus, raccoon, Emperor Angelfish, Watanabei Angelfish, Pakistan Butterflyfish

Not certain about the Pakistanis, but I've seen all of the others you mention in reefs. A shop near me has a 500 gallon display with a raccoon butterfly who keeps majanos in check. Semilarvatus and emperors carry some risk; the angels are probably better with SPS than LPS. Watanabei is about as reef safe as an angel can be, and among the prettiest Genacanthus!

~Bruce, who has a flame and coral beauty in his display, and a regal and yellow longnose in his QT

Pakistani's and Racoons are usually not regarded as Reef Safe. Plenty of people have emperor's in reefs as well.

IMO, with that wish list, you may get lucky with SPS, but LPS will be lunch. SPS is not guarantee. Just really depends on the fish personality.

I kept a semilarvatus in my reef years ago. It picked at one particular brain coral, but left everything else alone. I was feeding it a lot though so that it wouldn't pick at coral.

My emperor and koran angels eats everything except hairy mushrooms and leathers

It is truly luck of the draw with larger Angels. Meaty LPS almost never last. That being said, I have the following scattered in my two 240's along with Leathers(all types), Monti's, bubble, star polyps, goni's, frogspawn and yes, some zoas.

Emperor
Blue Face
Passer
Cortez
Annularis
Regal
Flame
Bellus
Swallowtail
Scribbled

Looking for a Bandit.

I even have a tiny Dogface Puffer and a Picasso Trigger. All have been int he tanks for over a year, some more than five.

Might try a Pyramid (or three) at some point. I have tried Raccoons a couple times, but they have always been a problem.
