Butterfly Fish

I just bought (yesterday) a couple 4-eyed butterfly fish for my 120 tank. I also have a heniochus butterfly that is a couple weeks old. The fish are very helathy and active. The heniochus eats everything I put in. The 4-eyed haven't taken to the food I have yet though. They pick at the rock all teh time. I tried flake, frozen brine, emerald entree, and cyclopees. So far they haven't been interested. Is there something else that butterlfy fish prefer to eat.... Thanks

Try taking some fresh sea food, freezing it, and tossing it in a blender... freezing that into blocks. I recommend clams, mussels, squid, fleshy fish like shark or salmon, octopus... just what ever you can get your hands on.

Another kind of food you might try is flying fish roe... those little orange eggs you get on sushi. You can find it in asian markets.

Some butterflies have very exclusive diets. I've never read up on 4-eyed.
