button coral

A semi-heavy rock fell on my button coral (open brain) and punctured a couple of the bubbles. Will it survive or have I seen the end of it. I don't want it to destroy any of my other corals - help!!!

It depends on how healthy your tank is. If you have any nitrates the chances are pretty good that it may die due to infection. However if you have a healthy tank it should be ok, just watch for any signs of brown jelly or pink skeleton which means an infection.
