I am thinking of what soft coral to get first and I am thinking button polyps. I have read a ton of info on them here but have a couple questions.
They seem like hardy creatures, about how mature should a tank be before a newb even thinks about getting them?
what are some things to look for when picking one out at the LFS?
is there a minimum colony size to look for when purchasing? I have seen a few singles that had been seperated from the main group, a couple clusters of 6 or so and then large clusters with easily 20-50. (a medium cluster is 15$ here, what do they average state side?)
