Ca reactor troubles

How would one's tank look like if your Ca reactor was running for say 10 hours but the CO2 gas supply was turned off?

Would the tank be cloudy?

Shouldn't be. Without the CO2 its just saltwater flowing through crushed coral. If anything is seems it would clear the water. Kind of like a fluidized bed filter but with large substrate.

With my current crap regulator, that happens sometimes. The pH in the regular simply approaches the tank pH and then it becomes a giant, but very slow, rock filter
