Calcium dosing?

do you guys dose calcium daily for your clams or do you all have reactors that do it for you? which would you recommend? also and places that are decently priced for a calc reator?

i dose calcium daily and it is really getting to be a pain in the butt. i have 16 clams and alot of sps and the calcium uptake is unbelievable. i am looking for a nice calcium reactor that i can afford but that may take some time

I got an aqua dose for kalk dosing, seems to work well. Anyone do this method?

I wish kalk could cut it. For most SPS/Clam tanks Kalk doesn't come close. Shoot, my corals and clams take so much CA and ALK that 5 times the max daily dosage of B-Ionic couldn't keep my levels up. So, I got a www.MyReefCreations.com skimmer. Probably the best thing I have ever gotten for my tank! It makes life SO much easier! I don't have to worry about CA and ALK anymore!

I only dose kalk in my 80G tank with 7 clams and a lot of SPS. My Ca stays at 420-440ppm but I have had recent problems with low alk (5-8dKH) which I have countered with sodium bicarbonate additions.
