Calcium help, please

I just tested all my parameters and my calcium is at 540. I have never added buffers or anything. I use instant ocean salt, and my alk is ideal. Would a water change help? Any suggestions would be great!

Are you using tap water?

If you have not added anything, either salinity is high, or the test kit is off, or you have an off batch of IO (pretty unlikely).

Calcium at 540 ppm is not a big deal, and if you are not supplementing anything, I wouldn't do anything about it except routine water changes.

Have you measured calcium in the IO that you use?

I use RO/DI water, and no supplements. But I never thought to check the calc in the IO before I added it to the tank. I will make sure to do that before my water change. So 540 isnt bad? The salinity is at 1.025, so I guess it could just be my test kit. I really need to invest in a salifert kit.

Some salt mixes (like Oceanic ) have that much to start. I recommend keeping it lower, but if you are dosing nothing, I'd leave it. :)
