at the moment i am running a 100 litre system and i would like to add a calcium reactor..

My problem is,,,,,,,,,,,,i am hoping to upgrade to a 500 ltr system at some point the calcium reactor i am going to buy will have to be much to large for my 100 ltr system so as to be able to be added to my larger system when the upgrade comes...
Will the large calcium reactor overload my small system or can i simply just adjust it to avoid this

You cannot oversize a cal reactor (within reason). The control you have over the drip rate and bubbles per minute of CO2 will allow you to match your system requirements. *** just be sure to test your system alkalinty and PH often during the dial in period ** start very low and adjust up slowly to reach target values.
