As my interest in SPS has grown significantly, I am anticipating a challenge with my Calcium levels, and I am considering adding a reactor to my tank. I have managed to keep my levels "relatively" stable through water changes only, but I don't think that will suffice anymore.
I am looking for a reactor with a fairly small footprint, hopefully small enough to sit next to a 20gal long sump under a 75 gallon stand.
I also want to know the challenges in maintaining one of these, or are they fairly easy to use?
Will they maintain all Calc, Alk, and Mag levels, or will there be supplemental dosing required?
Any other information you could offer would be great. Also, if you happen to have one that you aren't using, let me know.
