calcium too high?

My calcium reading has hovered around 500 for quite a long time, my KH is stable between 8-9. Should I try to bring down the calcium? if so, how? I havent detected any adverse effects on my inhabitants. do you think 500 is too high? Is there something thats causing it that I need to address?

It is likely fine. I recommend 380-450 ppm or so, but a bit higher is fine as long as you can maintain alkalinity OK. Many salt mixes these days run 500 ppm+, so unless you boosted it a lot, that is the likely source.
