calcium ???

i am new to the whole calcium thing and was wondering were you can get the pickling lime by Ball. i was also told that you can use preston salt. if so how much and how do you set it up.

right now i have a 5 gallon poly tank thanks to joe with a pump in it running to my top off. will i put the preston in there and not run the pump??? just a lil conf any help will be awesome thanks a lot

also if i a am just going to use pickling lime then were is my tank getting its iodine strontium and magnesium form? i do water changes and i have reef pro and it is said to have all trace but will my corals eat all that up in like on time??

All I use is pickling lime and get my trace elements from water changes
I got my pickling lime from Mrs Wages on line dont remeber the cost but I think you can find it at Wal-Mart in the canning area but I am not sure

Never messed with the Prestone stuff so I am not sure but thats a little differant the pickling lime I think
If you can find pickling lime I can hook you up with some I have an extra can or two I think I paid $6 each for them with shipping
They will last you a long time

I don't think you'll find pickling lime this time of year at walmart. I think you'll have to order it on-line.
