anyone have any secrets on camaflouging a wavebox?

can the box be placed behind the rockwork, if i made a angled bracket so the box would shoot diagonaly across the tank?

back right corner to front left corner?

or is it best to have it running in the direction of the tank?

Once they have been in the tank for a while they tend to become hidden among the tank with algaes and the occasional coral growing off the casing.

Generally you wouldnt want to hide it behind and rocks etc that may restrice the flow and interupt the wave formation. It creates a better wave as the pump pulses and pushes the water against the side panel of the aquarium and back again. The water is directed back towards the other end and so on, creating the wave motion. The water is forced to flow back and foward creating the effect. If it is directed into a corner or something is obstructing its path you may find it isnt as effective and you wont be able to create the same effect.

I have seen pics of some hidden behing false wall in the tank with just the outlet showing through. Same is done with the stream pumps sometimes.

Cheers
