Can a 10gal refugium produce enough pods?

I have a pipe fish and mandarin in a 55gal. I have a 15gal sump with 200 gal skimmer in one chamber and sand and LR in the other. That sump feeds into a 10 gal refugium with DSB and LR and Chaeto. Any thoughts/advice to promote pod growth?
