can a bicolor and a midas blenny live in a 50gallon together?

I'm not speaking from experience, but from what I've read you shouldn't put two blennies in the same tank. Especially since it's only a 50 gal. I wouldn't recommend it.

A bicolor and a midas will be fine. The midas will stay in your water column most of the time. If you were asking about another BiColor or a lawnmower, starry blenny, black sailfin blenny, tailspot, etc. then it would be a problem.

I've seen lots of people have a midas and some other kind of blenny in the same tank with no problems.

So this thread is 5 years old, but for that time the next person Googles bicolor and Midas:
We have these guys together in the same 180 gal, and there was ZERO issues. They swim around each other like the other doesn't exist. And sometimes can even be found perched on the same little rock.
We added the Midas after the bi-color.

I have a tail spot and a lawnmower in my 30 for several months with no issues whatsoever. Tail spot stays in the water column and the lawnmower on the rockwork. Just my experience.
