The toadstool doesn't let out it's tenticles/feelers (what ever they are called) in the 1/4" area where they are touching, but that is it. The Kenya opens completly up.
Yeah, then it's buggin' the toadstool. I'd move them. Another reason for moving them is that they are probably having some chemical warfare going on there, and that can't be good for your other corals in the tank. Especially bad for any SPS that you have in there.

The Purigen I get, comes in a bag--I put it between 2 baffles. I want to get that carbon-thingy that Rod makes for it. I need a pic or drawing for it though.
I always get mine from Dr. Foster and Smith, I might have another laying around at home, if so I'll give it to you (I bought a lot of them before realizing they can be recharged and used over and over). I'll let you know.
