Can Anemones and coral live in harmony?

I have a beautiful Rose BTA with has just moved very close to my Candy Coral heads, but they seem to be fine. I know I should be worried about the BTA stinging the coral but is it safer to not intervine and see what happens?

I really hate to move either of them (coral looks good there and BTA is a pain to get detached from rock...). Please let me know what you think.

i would let them be for now but if it does become a problem eg, cant sleep, constantly watching them or if the bta does finally sting them id move the corals.

A technique that I have found which seems to work quite well is the fishbowl method. Find someting like a betta bowl> put some rock rubble in it> place the base of the anemone in it and then surround the bowl with live rock. THe anemone thus as a secure environment of retreat and seems be less inclined to take the occassional "stroll" around the tank. Its worked on a few of my anemones> not to mention it makes moving them easier in the event that i would need to. Perhaps try it out if you anemone doenst stop moving and see if it works.

So far its seemed to have kept this anemone (12") in check for the past 8 months or so
