I bought a green cabbage leather coral that is attached to a large rock a while back. This rock has all kinds of other things growing on such as other mushrooms, but some of the stuff I don't know what to call. There is orange and white spongy blobs growing next to the leather. I have noticed that they are in fact growing so I know they are alive. What are they? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

They're just harmless sponges. These come in a wide variety of shapes, colors & sizes.

I have a LOT of that white sponge in my tank, and it’s cool as hell and doesn’t bother a thing, like most sponges.

That white sponge is cool! If I ran across one that looked that cool for sale, I would buy it in a nano-second.
Cheers! Mark
