i doubt the clam likes having the food fall in to it but as long as its not a ton of food then its probably ok. the clam cant eat this food, they need a food size between 2microns and 50microns.

When I feed my fish pellets, some of it would fall inside the clam. Would this affect the clam in anyway? It's a small crocea about 2 inches.
