I currently have a pair of tru percs that do not host in my rbt nem, my question is, can I add another clown? I'm interested in a black onyx clown. Will the pair kill the one clown? Will they get along? Or is it hit or miss? If the new clown hosts in my nem will he be ok.

Any help would be awesome. Thank you

Tank size is 57g, live stock, 2 percs, 1 chromis, 1 hippo tang, 1 Firefish.

I wouldn't mess with the balance that you have now. That's a beautiful pair you got there I think adding another one will just create trouble. That's just my opinion;)

Add one that is half the size of the male. I have done this time and again and have always had success.

But u have to make sure that you already have a bonded pair.

Is the 3rd clown the smallest when you said half the size of the male?
So if the female is 3" and the current male is 2" then the third clown should be 1"?

Most people that have tried raising multiple clowns will give you the same advice. Don't do it. It just ends in blood shed.
