can i cure hlle

i have a tang that is showing signs of lateral line diseasse
can i cure this or is he doomed??

i have gotten my tangs from lfs where they had HLLE. i just made sure they had a variety of different foods and some type of seaweed to eat. i have had 2 completely recover and the 3rd has recoverd 1/2. he was extremely bad. all of his top fin is gone and the hlle went from head to tail. they can be helped but it takes time.

I feed a wide variety of frozen foods exclusively and have never experienced hlle. Completely anecdotal, but it works for me.

Healthy diet is the main thing. soak food in vitachem or equivalent supplement. Also don't run carbon for a while.- Works for me...
