OK so I bought a used Iwaki pump on eBay. The motor is shot, but I can not find a replacement. Does anyone know where to buy a replacement motor for my pump?

It is a WMD-40RLXT

Thanks,

John

Dam thing is welded together. I have a friend that does the winding, but he will not touch the ones that are welded together.

What's wrong with the pump specifically?
When you turn it on does it just sit there and buzz loudly and not turn?

I have a PCX-40 that I bought used and it did that when I got it.
Take apart the pump completely and pull out the rotor:

I almost guarantee one of the bearings is what is causing the problem. I could still turn the rotor, but in my pump one of the bearings was so jammed up with rust that the motor couldn't start up..

Old bearing on right and new one on left:

I replaced the bearings myself but you could go down to a bearing shop and have them replace the bearings for you (I'd almost recommend this in all honesty; I had a VERY hard time reseating the bearings in the right place and balancing things..
