Can I get an ID?

I know these aren't the best pictures, but the bugger is fast and I only have a camera phone. It was sold to me as a "fairy wrasse". When I asked what kind, the guy didn't know, but said it was "transitioning." How he knew that without knowing what fish it was, I don't know. It's about 2.5 inches long....hot pink on the head, a dark middle, and yellow with dark stripes on the back. Thanks for any help.

That's it!! Thanks so much. Guess they don't do too well. Have had him 3 weeks and he's looking good. Hopefully it'll stay that way.

No, he just had it labeled as a "fairy wrasse". I knew it wasn't a solar wrasse because I've had one of those before. But it is the pencil wrasse, Pseudojuloides severnsi. He's a beauty, too.
