Can I go Reef?

I am very interseted in transitioning from a FOWLR to a reef tank but I am afraid my Racoon Butterfly make this impossible to do without setting up a new tank or removing him/her. Has anyone kept a Racoon Butterfly with corals? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

either way your gonna have to take it out due to the spikes when you add more live rock, i would say you probably dont have enough?

IME raccons are iffy...some times ok sometimes not with corals

as far as adding move live rock...as long as you cure it properly and only add a few pounds at a time your tank should be fine. i like doing it this way anyway b/c I can be pickery about the peices I get.
just keep an eye on the water chems.
