i have 2 of the nemo clowns, cant remember the name but they are the not expensive ones... can i also have 2 of the black and white clowns too?

next... if no to that one, what other clowns can i have?

oopps forgot.... i have a 55 gal with 20 gal sump/fuge. tank if 4 feet long and 1 foot front to back and like 19 inch top to bottom

I'm in the same boat as you. I've been wondering that as well. I don't want fishes to die innocently under my hand.

If both the orange and black and whites are all occ's then they can be mixed but I would only recommend 2 total in your tank. 1 female (biggest one) and 1 male. If you want more then that make sure that you only have one female period.

There actually is no nemo clown. Nemo isn't atomically correct. If your clown is orange and white, it's either Percula or Ocellaris. Post a picture and we can ID him by the eyes, or if it's a really good pic possibly the dorsal spines.

Anyways, you shouldn't be, and I discourage you from, adding more than one pair of clowns per tank. Don't get me wrong, it can be done, but in most cases it ends up badly. If you have a giant tank (500 gallons at least IMO) then you might be able to house two pairs of clowns. The other way you could do it is by having the clowns in such a large group that they don't attack each other. By large group I'm talking in the hundreds. Take a look at this thread. Many people have tried to keep clowns in trios, and while a few succeed, most fail. So my advice is just stick with one pair for your tank. :)

yeah im over it... thanks for all the great info, im gonna keep what i got. or if i get the urge i will just trade the set towards a set of black and white ones
