Can someone show me a pic of their purple monster? I'd like to know growth rate, tank params, lighting and placement, flow, and any other tips for keeping this beauty! Thanks in advance!

Here's mine, just got it from vuqchu. If you're lucky he'll chime in, he has a beautiful colony that will show the detail I'm sure you want to see. Sweet classic coral with interesting lineage and history.

This is the best picture I have of mine, grown back from a 1 inch frag after my crash, this is probably a year and a half growth, I would say it grows on the slow side. It is way bigger than this now, but I just recently lost most of the base and maybe an inch up the body on one side due to a small alk swing.

This coral does not like alk swings at all. I have it mid tank under 8 x 80 watt t5 in my 210. medium to strong flow.

At one point I had two huge colonies. Now down to one decent sized colony. It seemed to be languishing for a while so I backed off fragging it, but hopefully I'll be able to begin fragging again later this year. It certainly is very distinctive.
