Hi,
A friend of mine gave me his one gallon betta tank and I was wondering if thats too small for me to start a nano tank. All I want is to have one fish (damsel) and some live rocks in it. Do you guys think it will work? Thanks for the help.

ya i guess if u stay on top of it and well if u loose ther damsel its not a big loss and well u dont know till u try so i say go for it i would

especially a damsel.. try a neon goby or clown goby (although it is pretty small) .... try a small goby like neon, clown, eviota, or red head goby

i have a one gallon soft coral pico with a pepermint shrimp.... its been doing wonderful for two months... get good lights and stay on top of water changes and it will work wonderfully.... but i would say no damsel... neon goby maybe..
swift

neon goby would be good but tank temp has to be stable for those guys, they don't do well if the temp isn't stable so that's something to think about.
