Can I upgrade my ATI Powermodule?

I have a 4x24 watt ATI Powermodule fixture. Are their kits to make this into a 6 bulb fixture?

Thanks,
Ken

ATI sell most of the parts necessary to add an extra pair of tubes to a fixture, but by the time you go through the expense you'll probably work out cheaper just to sell the current one buy a new one with 6 tubes outright.

A 4 bulb unit is wide enough for 4 bulbs. The 6 bulb is a wider fixture. I wouldn't try to squeeze 6 bulbs in there.

You wouldn't put 2 additional bulbs into the same space. To would retrofit it and the fixture would become about another 4" wider.

I don't know if it would be cheaper to buy a new unit and sell the older unit. You ever try selling something? You always take a freakin bath.

I probably should've made it clear that the additional 2 wouldn't be inside of the existing housing by virtue of how tight things are.

That's still not the case. You would be getting an additional reflector and a longer end cap piece to hold the new module together. The unit would be about 13.5" instead of the current 9.5".
