Can I use Rotifer Diet for green water?

I am using Rotifer Diet from Reed Mariculture to enrich the rotifers and it seems like I am dosing the right amount(2x a day) and removing the correct percentage of rotifers a day. Can I use a few drops of this Rotifer Diet and make green water for new larvae or do I need a specific green water product?
Thanks Lou.

Rotifer Diet isn't an enrichment, just a grow-out feed. It would be fine to use as a greenwater.

Rotigrow Plus and RGcomplete are far superior as they are both grow-out and enrichment all in one.

For Rotifer Diet we created an a line of enrichments, ENRICH.

Ok so I guess I am really confused now. I thought I read on the website that I was suppose to use Rotifer Diet to feed my rotifers before I give the Rotifers to the clownfish babies. Can you help me understand? Thanks Lou

Grow-out feeds are not enrichments. Rotifer Diet is solely a rotifer feed and the rotifers should be enriched if using this product.

Rotifer Diet is a decade old formulation. RotiGrow Plus is our latest and greatest commercial rotifer feed that incorporates an enrichment so no post enrichment is needed.

RGcomplete is our latest hobbyist grow-out/enrichment for rotifers that also incorporates both a pH buffer as well ClorAm-X for ammonia control. This is the one hobbyists should be using for best success. However, it doesn't make as great of a greenwater due to the enrichment and pH buffer. We will shortly add another companion product Rgreen (or a name close to it).

We had a hobbyist version of Rotifer Diet that we used to sell and it was replaced with RGcomplete. The website and instructions have not been updated yet. Feel free to email techsupport AT reedmariculture DOT com and we'll guide you through it.
