Can McCoskers wrasse tolerate cupramine?

I want to QT a trio of McCoskers wrasse, what is the best way?

I would like to use cupramine and follow that with prazipro any issues with this?

Do I also need to have sand in the QT tank?

These wrasses do not burrow into the sand. They sleep in the rock, so you should keep your QT tank bare bottomed. Just give them some pvc to hide in. There are different theories on quarantining. Personally, I don't treat fish in QT unless there is sign of disease or parasites. The time to decide which medication to use is after you observe symptoms.

I appreciate your response and I agree totally but I'm asking so I can be ready in case treatment is needed. I try to keep cupramine and praziapro on hand just want to be ready if I need something other than that. Maybe I should have stated it in that manner.

so maybe my question should be......what do I treat a McCoskers wrasse with for crypto or other parasites?

I'm not qualified to answer the Prazipro question. I treated my wrasses with chelated copper in QT when they showed signs of Ich. I lost one of them, but the others are healthy and have been in the Display for several months. I don't see any reason why a medication that works for other fishes won't work on wrasses. Hopefully you'll get some other responses to this question.
