It says: "You can get as close as 5 cm at wide-angle or 30 cm at telephoto while in macro mode..." It sounds like you are getting too close to your subject.

drummereef Team RC Apr 8, 2007 #4 As rsteagall said, I believe the 'macro' setting has its limits. My Powershot A70 definitely does have a limit of focus in macro mode.

jedininja New member Apr 9, 2007 #5 There should be a button on the camera that looks like a flower icon. That is the macro mode.
