I have moved all my fish from a 30 gallon tank to a quarantine tank but left my cleaner skunk shrimp, redfire shrimp and three peppermint shrimp in it. Will the ich infect the shrimp if it cannot find a host fish. My goal is to starve the ich to death and not put any fish in this tank for 6 weeks.
Can shrimps have ich?

The ich parasite has to have a fish host to carry on its life cycle. No fish, they will starve.
Ich will not infect the shrimp.
