It's growing pretty much on the one piece of Kenya tree at the base and in the other pictures it's kind of branching out

Hard to tell from your photos. Maybe some kind of bleached macro algae. is it soft or hard?

It's not hard but it doesn't just brush off the rock either.

It is a form of sponge. I brought some home lfs on a rock before. It will grow and die as the nutrients in the tank fluctuate. Maintain healthy levels and don't over feed and it will subside

Sponge. I have some, too. Occasionally breaks off/Cherub nips at it. My 2 year old thinks it is a snake..... No biggee.
