Ya, I’m not sure what corals I’m getting yet. I’m probably leaning towards zoanthids for my first dive into them. i Got this tank when I bought my new house and he has been in it for quite a while. Bought a clean up crew and he’s tearing them apart.

Ok I thought I was missing something as you were asking if we have had luck with that fish and corals but I didn't see any images or names of the corals so we obviously cannot comment on luck with what we don't know..

Here is a decent "beginner" listing..

In general most corals are pretty easy to take care of..
The biggest thing is stability in parameters and not necessarily a certain parameter..
Here is a good read for you on parameters that shows the "ranges"..

Get good at keeping your parameters stable and corals will do just fine..

Awesome, thanks. Tank is very stable, just trying to figure out if i want to trade my dottyback in towards credit for a coral or not. I guess ill just have to buy a cheaper frag and see how he does with the coral to find out.

Dottybacks/psuedochromis should be completely safe with corals.

Possible trouble with shrimp. In a lot of cases, they are quite aggressive with other fishes.
